Romano kennel was founded in 1986, when the first three female dogs were bought: Paitimbega Ulma, Paitimbega Anett and Besi de Leka. The first two were coming from the most known Romanian kennel at that time: Paitimbega, belonging to Mr. Paiusanu from Timisoara..
In December 1986, the first valuable puppy in the history of the kennel was born: Romano Aris. Later on, Romano Aris became national training champion and won the Romanian beauty championship. As time was passing by, other various acquisitions were made, most of them from import, both for female and male dogs.
My opinion is that the value of a kennel is given by the quality of the puppies obtained and not by the value of the imports. This happens because most of the times the imported dogs give birth to puppies of a doubtful quality due to the improper choosing of partners.
This is why the kennel policy has always been pursuing the value of the products and promoting the obtained puppies, regardless the owner.
